On the eastern part of Jeju Island, a splendid place where our guest house is, you can have a glimpse of the traditional life of the native people there and the unique nature of the island itself. A comfortable cycling road has been prepared nearby, along the shore. In the middle of the way, you can find two of the world's natural heritages. One is a sun-rise peak(Sungsan-ilchulbong), which is very close to our guesthouse. The other one is the Nutmeg Forest (Bijarim) where a 500 year old tree has grown. After cycling, you can relax, feel restored, and heal your body in Bijarim. Furthermore, on this cycling road you can find the San-Gum-Bu-Ri which is Jeju Island's greatest crater. We hope you enjoy the unique nature scenes of Jeju Island.
The untouched shore spreads out in front of the guest house. It takes about two minutes to reach Hado beach and to get to the Jongdal-ri beach on foot. A still pine wood forest spreads through the backyard of the building and you can command a whole view of the Pacific from the top of the slightly elevated hill which passes through there. Looking down from the hill you will catch a view of Tokki Seom (The island of the Rabbit), on which crinums come in full bloom in the early summer, when a subtle sweet fragrance fills up the whole air. In addition, when it turns to winter, in the very large damp area nearby, hundreds and thousands of migratory birds create fantastic scenery which pleases the eyes of visitors and onlookers.
The wall and the ceiling of all rooms and living rooms of the guest house are built using wood from the hinoki tree. Feel the deep relaxation of your mind and body immersed in the refreshing fragrance of the hinoki thiol and also enjoy the splendid sunrise from the horizon.
